I too want to leave the Internet
Chupacabra's post said what I started writing last night. I just couldn't bring myself to write because it felt so dumb, but I should have just hit publish instead of closing the tab.
I think I've said it here, or maybe elsewhere, but the Internet, which I'll just use as a general term that encompasses the web and other stuff, is just not where I want to spend my time. Every page that loads is littered with garbage. There are corners that still offer a glimpse of what once was. Bear is a perfect example!
I've really tried to remain optimistic, but I don't have much optimism left in me about the human Internet. We're going to have to make something. I think DFOS might be onto something, but it's clunky.
