On the topic of a pseudpocalypse
Dynomight's pseudpocalypse post mostly holds up. What it did for me was pull attention toward the physical world, which is notable because pseudonymity is something I'd only ever framed in online terms — the two have been almost interchangeable. That equivalence has an expiration date. Sooner or later AI will be able to trace text back to whoever wrote it, and there's no obvious reason it won't. The question worth sitting with is whether the same tool can be turned around: a pseudonym running on AI, scrambling your writing enough that it resists being pinned to you.
